Terms of Service

Scevia · Last updated 24 September 2026

These terms apply when you use Scevia. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Scevia does

Scevia generates images and video from text prompts, animates still images, upscales and removes backgrounds from images, and provides basic photo and video editing. Generation runs on third-party AI models; we operate the app and the servers that route your requests to them.

2. Your account

3. Credits

Generation is paid for in credits. Costs are charged by our servers when a request is made:

ActionCost
Image generation1–2 credits, depending on the model
Image editing, background removal1 credit
Upscaling1 credit for each started 12 megapixels of output
Video generation (text-to-video and image-to-video)2–6 credits for each started 5 seconds, depending on the model
Photo templates1 credit
Video templates5–10 credits, shown on the template

Video models are not all priced alike, because they do not cost us alike. On the cheapest model a 5-second clip is 2 credits, a 10-second clip 4 and a 15-second clip 6; on the most expensive it is three times that. The exact cost is shown in the app before you confirm. We may change credit costs as model prices change; the price shown at the moment you confirm is the price you pay.

If a generation fails

If a request fails on our side or at the model provider, the credits are automatically returned to your balance. Credits spent on a generation that completed are not refundable, including when you don't like the result.

Buying credits

Credit packs are one-off purchases made through the App Store in your local currency. Credits do not expire while your account is open, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged.

4. Subscriptions

Auto-renewable subscription terms

PlanLengthPriceIncluded
Scevia Starter1 weekUS$9.99 per week10 credits each week
Scevia Creator Pro1 monthUS$29.99 per month40 credits each month

Subscription credits are delivered on the same terms as purchased credits and are subject to section 3. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period, and credits already added remain yours.

5. Refunds

All purchases are made through Apple, so all refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a credit purchase, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance. If your balance has already been spent it may go negative, and you will need to buy credits again before generating.

6. What you may and may not do

You may use what you generate for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the rights described in section 7 and the terms of the underlying model providers.

You must not use Scevia to create:

You must also not attempt to bypass credit charges, tamper with the app or our servers, use automated means to access the service, or resell access to it.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that breach these rules, and we will report unlawful content to the authorities where we are required to.

7. Rights in what you create

8. AI output — important

Everything Scevia produces is generated by artificial intelligence. It can be wrong, distorted, biased, or unsuitable for what you intended, and two identical prompts can give different results. Output is provided as-is. Check it before you use it for anything that matters, and never rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

9. Availability

We do our best to keep Scevia running but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages, and rate limits or downtime at our model providers can all interrupt generation. Where a failure costs you credits, section 3 applies.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or data, or for what you or anyone else does with content generated through Scevia. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here removes any statutory consumer rights you have where you live.

11. Third-party services

Scevia relies on Supabase (accounts and storage), Fal.ai (image and video models), Anthropic (the Prompt Assistant), Fly.io (request routing), Adapty (purchase handling) and Apple (payments). Their own terms apply to their part of the service. How your data flows to them is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may change the app and these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Scevia after that means you accept the change. If you don't accept it, stop using the app and you may cancel any subscription as described in section 4.

13. Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 6, that is used fraudulently, or where we are legally required to. If we close your account for a breach, unused credits are forfeited. If we discontinue Scevia entirely, we will give reasonable notice.
